WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) released the following statement after President Joe Biden announced the pardon of his son, Hunter Biden:
“President Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter is a striking confirmation that he is one of the most crooked presidents in United States history. Hunter is guilty of committing numerous crimes yet flouted the justice system solely because of his last name. President Biden, who repeatedly lied to the American people about a pardon, abused his authority to shield his son from the consequences of his crimes.
“This blatant and disgusting abuse of power by the president cements his legacy as one of corruption and disgrace.”
