The Tennessee Titans are coming off an upset victory over the Houston Texans in Week 12 action and now set their sights on the Washington Commanders.

That, of course, provides those of us here at Titans Wire the opportunity to hypothetically steal from the Commanders’ roster in search of depth and/or talent upgrades. Although a solid core is in place, the Titans could use an influx of talent on all levels, and the Commanders offer a variety of players that could improve the roster.

In this one, I am going to bypass the offensive line. Between injuries on the interior and a gaping hole at right tackle, almost any offensive lineman would add serious competition to the Titans’ roster.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels is an intriguing option. The rookie phenom has looked like a veteran for most of the season and has proven to be NFL ready from the start. However, with offensive line issues and quarterback Will Levis starting to turn the corner, there are options that could pay dividends in other areas.

Linebacker Bobby Wagner, tight end Zach Ertz and defensive tackle Daron Payne are also potential targets, but one player outshines all of them: wide receiver Terry McLaurin.

Yes, the combination of Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine have been productive and seem to be developing chemistry with Levis, but McLaurin is a difference maker. Since entering the league as a third-round selection in the 2019 NFL draft, he has developed into one of the most complete wide receivers in the NFL and all he does is make plays.

With the Titans, he would give Will Levis a dynamic target that can excel in any role on the offense, allowing the team to attack teams both vertically and horizontally. When coupled with a dynamic running game behind Tony Pollard, the offense would start to show a lot more potential.

What are your thoughts, Titans fans? Would you pick Terry McLaurin or steal an entirely different player from the Washington Commanders?
