INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after one person was killed and another was critically injured in a shooting on Indy’s east side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 2:30 a.m., officers were called to the 4200 block of East New York Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located two people with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Police say one person died from their injuries, and the second person was listed in critical condition.
