INDIANAPOLIS – A vehicle fire slowed Friday morning traffic on I-65 northbound.
An alert from the Indiana Department of Transportation said all lanes of the interstate were closed near Exit 123 and 71st Street on the northwest side.
INDOT cameras showed flames and smoke shooting from the fully engulfed vehicle as firefighters worked to get the situation under control.
INDOT’s traffic map showed a crash near 86th Street just a few miles north of the car fire was also slowing traffic.
