SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Class ‘AA’ quarterfinals saw all four of the higher seeds advance Thursday at the Premier Center.

Harrisburg, the top seed, extended its winning streak to 76 matches with a three-set sweep of Aberdeen Central. Gabi Zachariasen posted a match-high 17 kills.

O’Gorman also registered a straight-set victory over Watertown. Lauren Venenga notched 11 kills.

Jefferson defeated Brandon Valley by winning three straight sets after dropping the opener. A trio of Cavaliers tallied double-digit kills: Isabel Simmons (17), Emory Brosnahan (17) and Peyten Krull (10).

Washington edged out Roosevelt in five sets. The Warriors won the second, third and fifth sets. Kaelyn Snoozy compiled 22 kills, and Cate Legal added 19.

The semifinals are slated for Friday. Harrisburg and O’Gorman are set to battle at 5 p.m., and Jefferson and Washington will cross paths at 6:45 p.m.
