INDIANAPOLIS – Crews responded to a fire Thursday morning at an east side restaurant.
The Indianapolis Fire Department was dispatched around 6:15 a.m. to 1935 N. Shadeland Ave. That’s the address for Four Seasons Diner.
Heavy smoke and flames were reported at the location. The family-owned restaurant has been in business for more than three decades.
A worker told FOX59/CBS4 that she noticed smoke coming from the neon sign. They shut off the circuit breaker, but the fire quickly spread and they evacuated the building about five minutes later.
The business has been a fixture for decades and has several regular customers. It appeared the diner sustained significant damage.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire. No one was hurt.
