INDIANAPOLIS – Authorities are conducting a series of raids across central Indiana in a crackdown on a large drug trafficking operation.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is the lead agency, with support from state and local resources.

The sweep is happening in multiple counties, including Marion and Johnson. The DEA said it involved 15 locations and 12 arrests, all on federal warrants.

The focus is on narcotics, according to law enforcement sources, with SWAT units targeting multiple addresses.

The DEA described it as a “substantial drug trafficking operation” involved in dealing methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and more.
