INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a person was fatally shot downtown on Sunday.
According to IMPD, officers were called around 12:43 p.m. to the 500 block of E Market St. Upon arrival, they found a victim with injuries consistent with at least one gunshot wound.
That victim has since been pronounced deceased.
Further details, such as potential suspects and the situations leading up to the shooting, have not been released.
