INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a person was shot at a convenience store and chicken restaurant on the northwest side Thursday evening.
Per the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called around 7:39 p.m. to the Sun Food Mart and Harold’s Chicken located on the 3800 block of Lafayette Road.
Upon arrival, police said they found a victim with injuries consistent with at least one gunshot wound. According to IMPD, that victim is awake and breathing.
