A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead after he was discovered wounded inside of a 2nd floor apartment Monday night in the Woodlawn neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 10 p.m., an acquaintance of the victim discovered him with gunshot wounds to the head and chest in an apartment in the 6100 block of South King Drive. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one was in custody for the fatal shooting and police were investigating.
