While it may appear as though the dust has settled on South Dakota’s general election ballot issues and state legislative races, there could still be some changes in the results as the state’s most populated county is still counting.

As of late morning (Nov. 6, 2024), the Secretary of State’s Election Results website shows Minnehaha County has reported numbers from only 13 of its 81 precincts. The website also shows that statewide, there are 691 voting precincts and 623 of them have been counted.
