SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — A 32-year-old arrested for aggravated assault, robbery and kidnapping has now been charged with first and second degree murder.
The Minnehaha County State’s Attorney indicted Robin Swallow, of Sioux Falls, on charges of first and second degree murder for the killing of 64-year-old Michael Raymond Colvin from Sioux Falls.
“The autopsy confirmed the manner of death was homicide,” Lt. Aaron Nyberg said during Thursday’s police briefing. “Those charges were added.”
On Sept. 22, officers were called to the area of 12th and Cleveland around 5:30 p.m. to reports of a man who was severely injured. Police believe the injuries resulted from a disagreement between Swallow and the Colvin. Colvin was taken to the hospital and died of his injuries a few weeks later.
Swallow’s arraignment is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 4.
