SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — Gunshots between cars were reported at Mercato’s East on Sunday night, according to information from Monday’s police briefing.
Police responded to the scene, where bullet casings were found in the parking lot.
“A person from one car started firing a gun at another car and everyone left,” spokesman Sam Clemens said. The cars involved were described by Clemens as “silver and red.”
It is unknown what led to the shots fired, but surveillance footage was able to capture the events. There were no reports of injuries. Clemens said there may be damage to a car from the shots, but could not confirm.
