Will Levis returned to practice on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Callahan says he anticipates that Mason Rudolph will start on Sunday, but he has not committed to either one.
Levis has been battling a shoulder injury suffered against the Miami Dolphins in Week 4, but in Callahan’s current scheme, it doesn’t seem to matter who the quarterback is anyway. Levis sat out last week against the Bills, and if Callahan is smart, he will sit Levis again this week, if only to protect him. We’ll see what he decides, just probably not until the deadline on Sunday.
