SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — When you think of Halloween you normally think of it as kids getting to have all of the fun.

In this week’s Flashback Friday, Terry Sater takes us back to Halloween in 1984 where some adults got to show off their costumes at work.

I’ve noticed something peculiar about grocery shopping in Sioux Falls but I haven’t figured out what it is.

Judging from the characters ringing up and bagging groceries at the hyvee checkouts it must be halloween you better check those grocery bags twice when you get them home

This is original these guys dressed up as butchers, there’s also halloween exposure at the downtown holiday in from the viking flasher. And Mr. T is hanging around the hotel elevators as he goes through the ups and downs of his career.

Elsewhere in tinsel town at Morrells Credit Union the tour guide is a Christmas Tree she’s trimmed with twinkle lights of course and there are already a couple of packages under her limbs. The credit union has also added a new dimension to financial security and the Christmas tree otherwise known as Kim has found a way to pick up a few holiday dollars of her own.

“I have been offered to come to houses and be their Christmas tree ‘laugher’ and I have been elected the credit union christmas tree this year”

After Christmas maybe she can open up her own branch office.
