SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A new partnership between Avera and Mount Marty will give nursing students financial aid relief in their final years of schooling.
The program, called the Avera Nursing Advantage, will give junior and senior nursing students a sponsorship and allow them to work in Avera after earning their bachelor’s degree.
“So it is highly likely… without additional student loans,” said Mount Marty University President Marc Long.
The partnership lets students continue to receive their current financial aid, but with the additional sponsorship, it will cover tuition and partial room and board.
