SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — ZooBoo is a non-scary trick-or-treat event at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls. Little ghosts and goblins can visit the animals amid all the painted and carved pumpkins from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is a zoo admission. Zoo members get discounted tickets.

Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital is hosting a Trunk or Treat event at their urgent care location on South Minnesota Avenue. The hours are 2-4 p.m.

VFW Post 628 is hosting an All-You-Can Eat Pancake Breakfast. Serving time is 8:30 a.m. to noon at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance. The cost is $8 for adults, $2 for children.

Raise the Ruff is a fundraiser for Sioux Falls Canine Rescue. It’s taking place from 2-7 p.m. at Blessed Redeemer Lutheran Church in Brandon, SD. The event includes a free-will donation soup supper, silent auction, raffles, a petting zoo and bake sale.

Riverview Christmas Tree Farm in Canton, SD is hosting a Pumpkin Festival. New this year: a giant pumpkin cannon and apple cannons. The hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fall Festivals in KELOLAND include Country Apple Orchard in Harrisburg, SD and Mazing Acres in Yankton. The hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festivals runs every weekend through this month.

The Heartland County Corn Maze, east of Harrisburg on Highway 11, is open for its 25th season. The 11-acre maze is open from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $9, $6 for children and free for ages 4 and under.

Siouxland Heritage Museums is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an exhibit called Courthouse Chronicles, about the history of the original Minnehaha County Courthouse. The exhibit is at the Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Sioux Falls from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Movies playing at the historic State Theater in downtown Sioux Falls include Hocus Pocus, rated PG and Bram Stoker’s Dracula, rated R.

The Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium features T. Rex, Cities of the Future and Experience the Aurora.

New in theaters this weekend: Smile 2, rated R.
