INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 70-year-old.
According to a press release, Gene Dinkins is missing from Vincennes, which is located about 120 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
Police described Dinkins as a 6-foot, 160-pound, brown-haired, blue-eyed man. Dinkins is believed to have been wearing jeans and a light blue hoodie with a graphic design on it at the time of his disappearance.
Dinkins was last seen on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Law enforcement reported that he may be in extreme danger and in need of medical assistance.
ISP is encouraging those with information on Dinkins whereabouts to call 911 or contact the Vincennes Police Department at (812) 882-1630.
