INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed early Monday morning.

According to IMPD, at 12:35 a.m. on Monday, officers received a report of shots fired in the 8200 block of Roy Road.

When officers arrived they found an adult male with a gunshot wound in the driver’s side of a vehicle. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officers were told by neighbors that some type of argument occurred before the shooting took place.

There are no known suspects at this time and officers are canvassing the area for door camera footage and witnesses.
