Fix Washington PAC launched a new TV ad hitting Baldwin on transgender issues.
It’s the second ad on the topic from the group, and the GOP-aligned Senate Leadership Fund also focused on transgender issues in the first spot of its buy in the Wisconsin race. GOP businessman Eric Hovde has also run ads on the topic.
The latest Fix Washington PAC ad features a woman identified as Jessica, of Waukesha County. She says Baldwin voted to let boys compete in girls sports, co-sponsored a bill to force women to share locker rooms with biological men and has a bill that would require domestic violence shelters to admit biological men even though survivors say it would cause trauma for women there.
The woman closes the spot, “Tammy Baldwin has endangered Wisconsin families.”
