A box containing human remains was discovered Thursday on a sidewalk on the Near West Side, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 6 p.m., a witness said they were on a sidewalk in the 2600 block of West Taylor Street when they discovered a box containing a victim’s remains.
Detectives were investigating.
