INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a man early Thursday morning.
According to IMPD, around 1:37 a.m. an officer that was on off duty employment heard a disturbance in the 6300 block of Guilford Ave.
When the officer was investigating the disturbance they heard shots being fired and located an adult male with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
Police say they do not have a suspect in custody, but investigators are speaking with witnesses that were in the area.
