SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A woman who was involved in a crash in Codington County on September 21 has died from her injuries sustained in the crash.
The Department of Public Safety says a semi-truck was traveling eastbound on US Highway 212 near the intersection of 450th Avenue. The driver of a car was traveling westbound on US 212, attempting a left turn across the divided highway onto 450th Avenue. The vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes.
The driver of the car, 79-year-old Beverly Ann Halfaday, of Florence, South Dakota, suffered life-threatening injuries. She died from the injuries on October 3.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
