More counties were added to the burn ban list yesterday, as of now, 8 counties are active with countywide burn bans concentrated to the northern part of the state. Hurricane Milton is still churning, as a major hurricane, as its brushing the Yucatan Peninsula this morning! It will get back out into open water this afternoon and likely re-strengthen into a Category 5 while holding course to the northeast.
