The first quarter of the 2024 NFL season is in the books, and the 1-3 Tennessee Titans are on their bye. With that in mind, this is a perfect time to look back at their 2024 draft class and see how things are working out for these young players.

The Titans appear to be building a solid foundation through the draft, and many of these selections have already made an impact in 2024.

Look below to see how your favorite draft choice is doing.

JC Latham has been the highlight of a disappointing offensive line. After making the transition from college right tackle to NFL left tackle, Latham is improving every week and appears poised to be the franchise-type player the Titans envisioned when they selected him with the seventh selection in the draft. A Day 1 starter, he bounced back after a rough opening game and is the most consistent starter along the line. Most importantly, he will only get better with more experience.

Like Latham, T’Vondre Sweat has been improving every week. The immovable object in the middle of the defensive line, he is coming off his best game as a pro and the arrow continues to point up. He has been better than advertised and is developing into a dynamic three-down player for the Titans’ stout defense.

Unlike the two players selected before him by the Titans, Cendric Gray has yet to make any type of impact in 2024. After battling injuries through most of training camp, Gray is on injured reserve. Even if he returns to the active roster in 2024, he will have an uphill climb to earn playing time or make an impact.

Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has come in and quickly worked his way into a depth role for the Titans and he is showing signs of being a tremendous late-round addition. Thrust into the starting line-up after cornerback Chidobe Awuzie was placed on injured reserve, Brownlee responded with an outstanding performance and the defense didn’t miss a beat. With Awuzie out at least two more games, Brownlee will continue to have an opportunity to build on that game.

The young slot receiver has come in and added a dynamic element to the Titans as a return specialist, sitting inside the top 10 in both kick-off and punt return averages. While he has not made much of an impact as a receiver, with trade rumors swirling around DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks, Jha’Quan Jackson may take on a larger role moving forward.

James Williams has made the roster as a linebacker after playing safety in college at Miami. The talented defender was active for the season opener, but has been on the inactive list for the past three games and has yet to make an impact for the Titans.

After bursting onto the scene in preseason, Jalen Harrell has been relatively quiet across the first quarter of the season. He has seen action in all four games and is a rotational piece behind Harold Landry and Arden Key.
