LONDON (KELO) — The Minnesota Vikings improved to 5-0 on the 2024 season with a 23-17 win over the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Sunday.

The Vikings’ two touchdowns were scored by players with connections to KELOLAND. Rock Valley, Iowa, native Andrew Van Ginkel returned an interception 63 yards for the TD in the first quarter. Former Augustana standout C.J. Ham notched a two-yard TD run in the second to make it 17-0.

Minnesota intercepted Jets QB Aaron Rodgers three times and limited him to 244 yards while he completed 29 of his 54 pass attempts. He passed the 60,000 career passing yard plateau.

Vikings signal caller Sam Darnold completed 14 of his 31 attempts for 179 yards against his former team. Justin Jefferson hauled in six catches for 92 yards.

The Vikings have a bye next week before they face the Detroit Lions on Oct. 20.
