INDIANAPOLIS — A semi overturned on I-465 eastbound Friday morning, leading the road to be closed.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, a flipped semi between I-465 and S 9th Ave (Indianapolis, Mile Point 52.9) caused all lanes to close in the eastbound direction, starting around 11:26 a.m.
INDOT’s website shows both a map of where the crash occurred, as well as a photo of the overturned semi.
As of this article’s publication, INDOT has not indicated when the lanes will reopen. FOX59/CBS4 will update this story once more information is made available.
