SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A school district in western South Dakota ordered a shelter-in-place order following threatening graffiti found in a bathroom.

In a post on Facebook, Little Wound School District stated that, following the discovery of threatening graffiti in a girl’s bathroom, police were notified and a shelter-in-place order was issued.

The school district does not know when the graffiti was left. K9 units swept the school to ensure there was no threat to students or staff.

TK-8 were loaded on to busses and then individual high school classes were dismissed to leave.

No activity is to take place on school grounds Wednesday night.
