SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A new building has risen from the ground at the corner of N. Minnesota and Russell St.

The building sits on an industrially zoned plot of land and is home to a large concrete building in the process of being constructed.

The location of the new building, according to city records, was the former home of an Xcel Energy service center.

An Xcel building still occupies the western portion of the property, and the parcel of land itself is owned by Northern States Power Company, a subsidiary of Xcel Energy.

KELOLAND News has reached out to Xcel Energy for details on the new facility, but were told that such details will not be available until Thursday.
