INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a body was found on the city’s near northeast side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the area of E. 21st Street and Sheldon Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. on report of a person down. This is a relatively secluded side street located near a metal fabrication plant.
Officers arriving on scene confirmed the individual found was dead. The deceased reportedly had injuries consisting with trauma, police said.
At this time, no additional details have been released as the investigation remains active and ongoing.
