SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Red Flag Warning covers most of western and central South Dakota Sunday.
In a post on Facebook, the South Dakota Department of Public Saftey issued a Red Flag Warning spanning from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
A combination of strong winds, low humidity and warm temperatures contributed to increased fire risk.
Any fires that ignite would rapidly spread and become difficult to stop. People are advised not to burn anything outside or do anything that could light a fire.
