The Tennessee Titans have had a nightmare start to the 2024 season.
The team is sitting at 0-3 heading into Week 4, and not much has gone right for the team so far. However, there is one silver lining to being among the league’s worst teams.
As of Tuesday, the Titans are tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the top waiver claim priority. Before Tuesday, the waiver order was still tied to the 2024 NFL Draft order. Now, it is tied to 2024 records, which is why the Titans are at No. 1.
Effective today, the NFL’s waiver claim priority will reflect 2024 records, not the 2024 original draft order.
The top 8 as Week 4 begins:
T-1. Jaguars
T-1. Titans
3. Bengals
4. Browns
5. Bears
T-6. Cowboys
T-6. Raiders
T-6. RamsIt will update each week.

The waiver order will be updated weekly, so obtaining a better record slides you down the priority list.
This is a notable development, considering the Titans have plenty of needs. The Titans can have any player that gets cut unless the Jaguars also claim said player.
The Titans will be looking to end their losing streak in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins. The struggling Dolphins are hosting the Titans for Monday Night Football.
