Adam Grimm, a wildlife artist from Wallace, South Dakota, has won the Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for a third time. 


29-year-old Joshua Allen Junior was shot to death 4 weeks ago. It happened shortly before 4:30 in the afternoon during a large gathering at Dunham Park on the west side of Sioux Falls.
3 others were wounded. Allen leaves behind 7 children. His family is still trying to cope with his loss.


Fentanyl test strips are available at more than a dozen businesses and organizations around southeastern South Dakota courtesy of Emily’s Hope. These strips are used to detect the presence of fentanyl when it is mixed with other drugs.


Another dry weather day is ahead for KELOLAND as our weather pattern remains very quiet across the northern plains.
