SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A suspect was stopped from stealing a pride flag from a property in Vermillion by the Vermillion Police.
In a post on Facebook, the Vermillion Police posted that they responded to a call involving the theft of a flag pole and pride flag.
Due to their quick response, the suspect was caught within a couple of blocks of the property.
The Vermillion Police want to emphasize that damaging or stealing property is against the law.
“We want everyone to enjoy a fun night out, but we ask that everyone please respect other people’s property, no matter what that property may be,” Vermillion Police posted.
