INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after arriving at a hospital on the city’s southeast side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, an individual showed up at Franciscan Health Indianapolis in the 8100 block of Emerson Avenue at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Police said the individual was suffering from a gunshot wound and rushed into the hospital. They were listed as being in critical condition.
At this time, it is not yet known where the shooting occurred or the circumstances behind the injury.
