INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a person was struck and killed by a vehicle on the west side of Indianapolis Wednesday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 9:40 p.m. to the 2300 block of S. Lynhurst Drive after receiving reports of a personal injury hit-and-run occurring in the area.
IMPD confirmed that the crash caused at least one fatality. No other information related to the incident was immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
