INDIANAPOLIS — An early morning semi fire closed a portion of I-465 on Saturday, Indiana State Police confirmed.
According to ISP, the fire began around 1:13 a.m. A truck was engulfed in flames near US 52 E/ Brookville Road, which caused the area to shut down. In turn, the right two lanes were closed.
ISP is still investigating the cause of the fire, but said no injuries were reported. As of this article’s publication, they have yet to announce a time in which the area is expected to reopen.
