SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The city of Sioux Falls is gearing up for the upcoming Citizen Planning Academy. The goal is to get citizens involved in city planning and help shape the future of Sioux Falls.
“We’ll have a variety of topics that we continue to do and then a variety of topics in regards to planning, zoning, growth, management, infrastructure, housing, transportation and then any of those community quality of life issues,” said Jeff Schmitt, Planning Projects Coordinator for the City of Sioux Falls.
There are two classes planned for October 7th and October 24th. The deadline to apply for the academy is September 27th. Click here to apply.
