Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed Wednesday morning near Golden after a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The interstate is closed between Exit 259 for Morrison Road — about a mile west of Golden — and Exit 261 for U.S. 6, according to CDOT officials. All traffic must exit at C-470.
Transportation officials said drivers should expect delays in the area and take alternate routes where possible.
No details about the crash or when I-70 is expected to reopen were available Wednesday morning.
