South Dakota State prison offender Bobby Vanbiber has died.
Vanbiber, age 66, passed away Sept. 9, 2024, at the Jameson Annex to the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls.
At the time of his death, Vanbiber was serving a 50-year sentence for first-degree rape from Grant County.
