SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Tuesday morning brought a heated Minnehaha County Commission meeting in Sioux Falls.
While the 2024 General Election is only eight weeks away, the 2020 General Election and votes cast for it are at the root of a dispute between Commissioner Joe Kippley and County Auditor Leah Anderson. Anderson has alleged a discrepancy in ballots cast in the county in 2020.
Kippley sought Anderson’s resignation, but Anderson said she will not leave her office.
Coming up Tuesday night on KELOLAND News, we’ll look at how we got to Tuesday, and what the commissioner and auditor each had to say during the spirited public meeting this morning.
