MADISON, Wis. – UW Health has acquired Community Pediatrics, a small outpatient pediatric primary care physician practice based in Beaver Dam.

The practice provides comprehensive primary care for newborns to young adults. It operates in a nearly 4,000-square-foot leased facility at 109 Warren Street in Beaver Dam.

Currently, the practice consists of three pediatricians, one advanced practice provider and clinical and administrative staff that provide care for approximately 4,000 patients.

UW Health will maintain and operate the current practice location and has offered employment to all current staff and providers.

“We look forward to expanding the care we provide to our pediatric patients and their families in the community of Beaver Dam,” said Wendy Adams, vice president of primary care, UW Health.

The clinic will officially become a UW Health facility on Nov. 1, 2024. The new name will be UW Health Kids Beaver Dam Clinic.

“We are excited to be joining UW Health and gaining access to the incredible resources they can provide to our community,” said Dr. Betsy Peterson, founder and physician at Community Pediatrics.

Patients have been contacted directly with details on the transition.
