SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) A man has died in a car crash near Fort Thompson.
A 38 year-old driver and a passenger were traveling westbound on SD Highway 34 near mile marker 271, east of Fort Thompson, when the vehicle left the roadway where it vaulted over a driveway approach and crashed in the south ditch.
The driver died of his injuries at the scene and the passenger is in life-threatening condition. Neither of them were wearing a seatbelt.
