T.F. RIGGS HIGH SCHOOL
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thursday, August 29, 2024
Do you enjoy acting? Do you enjoy literature? Consider joining the competitive TF Riggs Forensics team. The oral
interpretation season begins in October. If you are interested in joining there will be a brief meeting in room 322 (Ms.
Frank’s room) after school today, Thursday, August 29. If you cannot attend please email Ms. Frank!
All high school students are invited to participate in the Moose Youth Awareness Scholarship Program. Scholarship
amounts range from $4,000-$12,000. To learn more about this scholarship, you must attend a meeting to be eligible to
compete. The meeting is Saturday, October 5 from 10:00-2:00 at the Fort Pierre Moose Lodge. For further information,
please come to the counseling office and pick up a packet.
One of the things that makes TF Riggs a truly special place is the number and variety of sports, activities, and clubs that
students can get involved in. I have done my best to update our list of extracurriculars with the name and email address
of the adult in charge of that sport/club/activity. Please contact them for more information such as dates and times for
tryouts or events. Getting involved will make your high school experience much richer and will expand your social circle.
Involvement also looks great on college and job applications. So…what are you waiting for? Get Involved, Governors! To
