SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – More than 200 people attended or watched the funeral stream online for a baby boy they never met Wednesday.
The funeral for Gabriel James was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at a Miller Funeral Home chapel in southern Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls police officers carried the baby casket during the funeral.
The Oaklyn Foundation and Miller Funeral Home came together to honor the infant.
A worker discovered the infant’s body at a recycling center, three weeks ago. Since then, he’s been named Gabriel James Doe and police have been working to identify his parents.
