The Tennessee Titans made more than three dozen transactions over a 24-hour period in order to trim their roster down to the league-mandated 53. While many additional transactions are certain to come over the next 24 hours, their initial 53-man roster has now been set.
Some of the transactions came as a surprise but overall, the final 53-man roster was largely as predicted.
The Titans also added a significant piece to their roster on Tuesday, acquiring inside linebacker Ernest Jones from the Los Angeles Rams. The 24-year-old has been listed here as part of the 53-man roster, but he will not officially count toward that number until he passes his physical.
Meaning, Tennessee will have one more move to make before Jones becomes part of the team.
