SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Defending state champion Lincoln opened its 2024 campaign with an 8-1 win over Aberdeen Central at home Saturday.
The Patriots were led by Eloise Geraets in flight one. She defeated Julia Knie in three sets (6-1, 4-6, 10-5).
The Eagles fall to 4-2 on the season and will be back in action on Friday in a quadrangular with Brookings, Harrisburg and Yankton. The Pats hit the court again on Tuesday against crosstown rival Jefferson.
