INDIANAPOLIS — A bridge deck overlay on I-65 near Beech Grove is expected to shift traffic starting on Thursday, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
On Thursday and Friday, INDOT crews will shift I-65 southbound traffic to the left so Ram Construction Co. can work on a bridge deck overlay.
At 9 p.m. on Friday, crews will close the right lane on I-65 southbound from Keystone Ave. to I-465. Crews will also close the Keystone Ave. to I-65 southbound ramp at this time.
Officials said in the announcement that they expect for the work to be complete by 6 a.m. on Monday, weather permitting.
INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones,” the announcement read.
