A Rapid City man – accused of abusing and killing a newborn baby – is behind bars.


Two Nebraska men face wire fraud and other charges related to a scam where they were able to steal more than $350,000 from a casino in northern South Dakota. 


An inmate died Sunday night at a local hospital, according to the South Dakota Department of Corrections.


While the start of the work week has been a largely quiet one, that won’t last for much longer as we head into the evening.


The Democratic National Convention begins Monday in Chicago, with roughly 50,000 people expected to arrive in the Windy City. That includes thousands of anti-war activists who plan to demonstrate near the United Center.
