CONDE, S.D. (KELO) — A South Dakota man has been found guilty of taking money from an elderly man who was in his care.
The South Dakota AG’s office says that 60-year-old Ronald Peter Clemensen, of Conde, South Dakota, was found guilty of two counts of aggravated grand theft by exploitation and five counts of grand theft by exploitation. Clemensen faces a maximum sentence of 100 years in prison when he’s sentenced later this year.
The AG’s office says the crimes were committed between 2015 and 2017. Clemensen used the money of the victim for unapproved expenses. The amount of money stolen in each count ranged from $5,000 to more than $500,000.
